· 'ONE TREE HILL' PREPS FOR FILMING OF 7TH SEASON

Cast and crew of “One Tree Hill” begin their first day of filming June 18,
but without two of the drama series’ biggest stars.
Chad Michael Murray, who played basketballer-turned novel writer Lucas Scott,
turned down season seven. So did Hilarie Burton, who plays Lucas’ moody music
producer wife, Peyton Sawyer.
With “Leyton” (as fans called the Lucas and Peyton love duo) gone, the show has
a few holes to fill.
“Entertainment Weekly” reported that Brian Austin Green, a former “Sarah Connor
Chronicles” star, wa sin talks to step in as a Jerry Maguire-esque sports agent
named Clayton. That deal fell through late last week and “Lipstick Jungle”
hottie Robert Buckley signed on for the Clayton role.

One Tree Hill's post Peyton-Lucas makeover continues: Sources confirm to me
exclusively that relative newcomer Shantel VanSanten has been tapped to play the
series regular role of Quinn, one of Haley's free-spirited older sisters. The
character comes to Tree Hill with a wounded heart and in search of someone new
to shag something new.
VanSanten, who will be seen in the upcoming Final Destination reboot, joins
fellow Tree Hill virgin Robert Buckley as the newest additions to the show's
cast. The Lipstick Jungle hottie is playing Nathan's sports agent.

Austin Green, but a deal could not be reached.
We're okay with that. Hopefully, he will remain shirtless the entire season.
That would do wonders for the ratings, guaranteed.

SOPHIA BUSH: PETCO ADOPTION DAY!
Sophia Bush adorably plays with some puppies on Petco Adoption Day in Los
Angeles on Saturday (May 30).
The 26-year-old One Tree Hill actress convinced her friend into adopting a
puppy!
On June 19, Sophia will participate in the first live, virtual
question-and-answer session between a film’s cast in one location and audiences
in separate theaters. Moviegoers in 17 U.S. cities will be able text-message
questions to the cast of her latest independent movie, The Narrows. Stay tuned

SOPHIA BUSH IS A SURPRISED STUNNER Sophia Bush was startled by persistent paparazzi as she exited a
parking garage while on her way to visit a friend in Hollywood, Calif. yesterday
after a work-out.

PEREZ HILTON AND CO. FIGHT PROP H8 by
THE
ADVOCATE
Gossip blogger Perez Hilton and a slew of his celebrity friends joined forces
with photographer Adam Bouska and former Miss California USA pageant director
Shanna Moakler Tuesday evening for Los Angeles' Prop 8 rally.
Bouska's NO H8 photo campaign has generated tremendous community support, and
Hilton rallied stars like Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz, Kelly Osbourne, Eliza
Dushku, Emmy Rossum and Sophia Bush to oppose the California Supreme Court's
decision to uphold Prop 8.
"Its certainly been an interesting few weeks," Moakler said at an event to
support Bouska's campaign before the rally and West Hollywood bar Fiesta
Cantina. "But I'm glad to be out here. This is important."
People got their faces temporarily tattooed with the "NO H8" logo before Hilton
called on everyone to get to the streets -- "This is a rally, not a VIP lounge."

15 MINUTES WITH KATE VOEGELE
The Orlando Sentinel spent 15 minutes with Kate Voegele before her concert at
The Social in downtown Orlando, FL on May 22, 2009 and where she was asked some
questions about touring, her time on One Tree Hill and if she will indeed
return for the 7th season to which she replied, "I go episode by episode. If
they want Mia back, I'll be back."

For those of you wondering what was said about the departure from Tree
Hill for Chad and Hilarie, along with what that means for Season 7, here is what
a few sources had to report from the Upfronts yesterday morning.
Another veteran show, "One Tree Hill," is dealing with the departures of Chad
Michael Murray and Hilarie Burton from the cast. Ostroff is sorry to see them
go, but she also thinks their leaving represents an opportunity to freshen up
the series.
"We tried to get them to stay, and we would have been thrilled if they wanted
to," Ostroff says. "I think the show moving into its seventh year was very open
to sort of reinventing itself. One thing I have to give [creator] Mark Schwahn a
lot of credit for is he's kept the show fresh all these years. ... I think Mark
is excited about maybe bringing on a few new characters, which is what we're
going to do now that we're finishing the pilot process.
"If you look at shows like 'ER' and [others] that go on for many, many years, a
lot of these casts go through different people, and it really helps to keep
shows fresh. So we're said to see [Murray and Burton] go, and grateful for
everything they did for the show, but excited about moving on and seeing who
else is going to join the cast." -

Chad Michael Murray and Hilarie Burton from One Tree Hill, Ostroff simply says
that One Tree Hill was open to reinventing itself in its seventh year, giving
Mark Schwahn kudos for the leap-forward idea that reinvigorated the show and
saying she was "grateful" to CMM and H.B. for their past contributions to the
show. -

SCHEDULE FOR 2009-2010 SEASON
A press release was sent out by the CW today with the schedule for the upcoming
Fall 2009-2010 Season. It looks as though One Tree Hill will be keeping its
usual spot on Monday nights @ 9PM, right after Gossip Girl.
On Monday, the powerhouse combination of GOSSIP GIRL and ONE TREE HILL will
remain in place. Last fall, this winning team made The CW the Number One network
with women, and sent Monday night ratings up 118 percent in women 18-34. GOSSIP
GIRL, which continues to be one of the most talked-about shows on television,
will return to its 8:00-9:00 p.m. slot, followed by ONE TREE HILL from
9:00-10:00 p.m.

favorite Colin Fickes, "Jimmy Edwards", about common acting mistakes, upcoming
projects, his fans and of course his role on our beloved show.
You played the role of Jimmy Edwards on the T.V. series, “One Tree Hill.”
During the first three seasons, your character went from being outgoing to being
emotionally disturbed. How did you prepare for such a dramatic change in that
role?
Well, it’s funny, I had left that role for awhile and so coming back, it was
interesting because I had to revisit and kind of see what he initially was like
in the first season for those first two episodes. Then just to see how he would
have evolved, kind of feeling what it was like, what it would be like to be
outcast…to feel alone and sad and feeling like there's no place for him. I think
we’ve all kind of felt like that at some point in our lives. So, it was just a
lot of tapping into that loneliness and frustration and sadness. It was intense,
it was a wild place to go but you just kind of go there and you hope you can
leave it behind once you’re done shooting.....
